About the Author
Dr. Sylvia Sibble-McLeod is a leading expert in teamwork. Her knowledge and skills culminated over 12 years of scientific research on work teams as well as hands-on experience coordinating and working with culturally diverse work teams. Born in the eastern region of St. Thomas, Jamaica, Dr. Sibble-McLeod migrated to Canada in her teen years, and later migrated to the United States. She has conferred a Doctor of Business Administration Degree (2018) at Northcentral University School of Business and Management Technology. San Diego, California. Dr. Sibble-McLeod also has a Master of Business Administration Degree, Global Management specialty (2005) and a Bachelor's Degree, Geography major from York University, Ontario, Canada.
Dr. Sibble-McLeod professional experience spans a wide range of services and industrial sectors including educational institutions, banking and financial sectors, retail and wholesale, governmental and non-governmental organizations, and the healthcare sectors. In addition, Dr. Sibble-McLeod is a mother and a small business owner.
She has as a long history of community volunteerism in her church, a minor league soccer coach, Pop Warner Football team mom. chairing committees for trade associations, among others. Dr. Sibble-McLeod is a former athlete who loves baseball, football, soccer, track and field, basketball, and other sporting activities. She loves music and is passionate about space exploration.
